Description: ERP is seeking a full-time Senior Environmental Scientist to join our team.
Senior Environmental Scientists at ERP collaborate with a diverse and supportive team to participate in and lead environmental and permitting analysis and natural resource surveys of energy development projects throughout the U.S. We are looking for a colleague who would like to lead, mentor, and manage teams of scientists and impress clients with a job well done.
Responsibilities: The Senior Environmental Scientist will lead permitting, planning, siting, regulatory, and other tasks associated with development and implementation of renewable energy projects. Responsibilities may include any of the following:
Project Leadership & Oversight
Serve as Technical Lead on complex, multidisciplinary projects.
Oversee project scope, budget, and timelines with minimal supervision.
Ensure regulatory compliance and technical quality across project deliverables.
Mentorship & Supervision
Provide mentorship and training to junior staff, including field methods, reporting standards and career development.

Technical Expertise

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field; Master’s degree in related field a plus
7-10+ years of environmental consulting experience, experience with renewable energy permitting a plus
Working knowledge of the Clean Water Act and wetland/stream delineation methods
Solid understanding of the Endangered Species Act and its effect on renewable energy development
Experience conducting environmental fatal flaws/constraints analyses a plus
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adequately prioritize tasks

Description: Energy Renewal Partners (ERP) is seeking an experienced Land Agent to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to work with potential clients to secure land positions associated with energy products. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in energy development projects and effective organizational skills. Real estate experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Extensive travel (70%).
Work with clients to secure land positions associated with renewable energy projects.
Research contact information for landowners, including items such as phone numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses, and other details for all potential participants within a prospective area.
Prioritize work based on client requests and prospect priorities.
Engage directly with landowner or their representative via email, phone, video call, and/or in-person, to discuss the execution of solar and/or wind and/or energy storage lease, easement, or purchase option.
Coordinate directly and communicate effectively with the Project Manager and client, and other representatives as needed for project development.
Familiar with securing real estate documentation, including title commitments, deeds, trust certificates, articles of incorporation, operating agreements, etc.
Provide the landowner information and documentation for the firm to draft executable land agreements.
Responsible for working with landowners to facilitate the execution of all land agreements.
Provide weekly summary of landowner engagements and progress on site control of prospective areas.
